Experience the most beautiful ride in Middle Tennessee. The 16th Annual Big Hill Challenge will feature five routes for riders who want challenges, or just a good day on the bike. Our SAG and Rest Stops are first class. And our lunch is served on the lawn of the historic train station hotel located on Depot Street. Come see what Historic Watertown and the Veloteers Bicycle Club have in store for you. It's twice the ride at half the price!
Nestled just outside of Nashville, Tennessee, historic Watertown combines breathtaking scenery and challenging terrain to create the perfect spot for an unforgettable cycling adventure.
Routes include a 14 mile fitness ride great for first timers and families, a 31 mile route that runs along creek beds and pastures, a 62 mile route that takes you up and around Center Hill for a memorable climb, and 100 mile route for century riders looking for a challenge.
Rest stops are stocked with food and hydration necessary to beat the heat and fuel the ride. Mechanics are available at the start and at our rest stops. Water stops are located throughout the 61 and 100 mile route and we provide SAG to ensure our riders en route needs are met.
At the end of your adventure enjoy lunch prepared by Nona Lisa Pizzeria and served on the lawn of the historic boarding house on Depot Street.
Registration begins at 6 a.m. at Watertown Middle School with the ride start at 7 a.m.
Cyclists of all ages and ability levels are invited to enjoy one of four scenic routes through the Middle Tennessee countryside.
