Each year, over 1,000 Tennesseans are killed in road crashes. Join us Sunday, November 19 to commemorate this loss and call for action on safe streets in the global World Day of Remembrance. This year, we will meet at Public Square Park and have a memorial walk to the State Capitol, symbolizing the action needed at the local and state level to save lives. All are welcome, encouraged to wear yellow, and bring flowers to honor the lives lost.
This year, we are co-planning this event with our friends in Knoxville. If you have friends in East Tennessee, their World Day of Remembrance event will take place in Market Square at noon ET in Downtown Knoxville.
